Grad School, Take 1 (GWU)
Tonight, I went to an open house for GWU’s Engineering Management graduate school. Once upon a time, I actually was working on this very degree — and at GWU, no less. Unfortunately, I was working at Oracle at the time, and life on the road — particularly with a chaotic achdule — did not mesh well the grad school program. Even the night school variety. Still, I didn’t quit; I went on a leave of absence. Although, after about 10 years, is it still a leave?
For GWU, I think I’m looking at the knowledge management concentration. That seems to fit better with both my past experiences and my future plans. One of the more interesting things about tonight was that the application should be in by May 1 and they are willing to waive the application fee.

Done and done. My application is submitted and we’ll see what comes of it.
