A while back, I submitted a topic to the CSI conference in DC. My topic was on DRM and ways of making it work, and it seems as if I wasn’t accepted for this go ’round (probably a good thing, as I’ve found a wealth of opposition papers pointing out a number of flaws in my argument). I shouldn’t feel so bad: Apparently, only about 15-20% of submissions to security conferences are accepted. I wonder if that percentage carries across to other genres of conferences…
