You know, I was actually a wee bit worried when the buzz about the iPad started. I just plunked down a whole host of cash on a laptop, and it might have ended up obsolete before it even arrived. Had the Apple tablet been as much of a game changer as the iPhone, that is.

Another walled garden, semi-computer that will fade either into obscurity or into a niche market before you know it. Sure, Apple will sell a bunch of them and Amazon probably should be a bit worried about their Kindle sales, but that’s really all it’s going to end up being. Because, who would want to spend money on a computer that could do more than one thing at a time…

I do wonder if Apple is going to release the iBook software as an app for iPod Touches/iPhones.
