AboutThis is the blog for C. Scyphers. Why C? Well, people know me by a few different names (Charles, Chuck, Casper) depending on various circumstances. “C” is just easier.

So, who am I? Feel free to check out my resume if you’re interested. Other than that, I’m a techie with over 20 years experience in highly available, high throughput databases supporting global operations for both commercial and government clients. I’ve been known to play the occasional bit of bass guitar and compete in a few triathlons, but that’s another blog altogether (or two, I suppose).

I live in the DC area with my wife and son (soon to be two). And a cat, when she chooses to acknowledge my existence…
